I would like to put praise at the top. It is so often one of the things that many people struggle to do in their time with the Lord and I think that it is still quite important.
Praise:
- God has been doing amazing things in my life. Since the day that I was born I have struggled with pride and ever since I got saved I have been trying to destroy it. Recently over the Summer my Pastor confronted me about pride. I am so thankful because not only was I proud but I was blinded by my pride. I am so thankful for men that are willing to do what the Lord commands no matter how hard it may be. Praise God and his goal af making me more like His Son.
- I have a great church out here and I am trying to become a member of it. I want to be a man that is serving and I think that this will help in the process.
- My once best friend (my cat) has died. Praise the Lord, He gives and He takes away. Worthy is the Lord of all praise.
- I am thankful for all the hard times I am having in my relationships. I hope that the Lord is able to use these for His good. God might have put these hard times in my life to see if I will live up to what I claim. I pray that all that is done here will be fulfillment of God’s desire.
- What a great God we have. He is sooo powerful, knowledgeable, and unchangeable. God truly is Awesome! How could I worship anything else?
- Praise God he is doing amazing things at my home church. I desire to be with them right now. I know that they are very godly men and women and I love the encouragement that I receive every time that I go home to see them.
- I just found a group that goes evangelizing on a regular basis. Praise God for such faithful servants and that He revealed them to me.
Prayer:
- While in Southern California I am surrounded by amazing churches. I think that it is easy to get into a place where you search for the perfect church. I pray that I will not treat my life out here as a consumer but rather a bondservant for the service of Jesus Christ. I think that this is going to be hard because I LOVE my church back home and I would like to be in a church of similar size.
- Pray that I will be a strong servant for the Lord.
- Pray that I will be a person that is seeking to be in fellowship with others. I think that this is hard for me and others because I speak with such authority at sometimes people are insulted by what I say. I do not want to be a man that scares people off because of my strong opinions and I do like to talk stuff through to either build stronger opinions, or just use it for the purpose of testing my convictions and may change them.
- I have built a reputation with some at the school as being an angry man. I pray that their attitudes of me will change as I have changed. I pray that there gossip will stop and that people will live up to the name of Christ.
- Pray that this semester will go fast. I do like school and the churches out here but this is for a season and no matter how hard I work out here it will soon come to an end. I pray that I will work hard and the this semester will go by faster than it already has.
- Pray that I find a job for when I go back home (before I get home). I want to make money so that I can spend it on others and enjoy the blessings of having others around me. I would like a job that is not surrounded by Christians so that I can have oppurtunities to share my testimony with others through my actions and my words.
- Pray that as I have more oppurtunities to share the gosple I take them and use them to glorify God through my actions.
